"Which One Shaved" is a good test of your headshave predicting
abilities. In this case, if you were fooled and you thought long haired Emily
shaved, you probably still believe in the Easter Bunny.
It really was too easy, and yes, it was short haired Sarah who took
the plunge- with the help of Emily the Barberrette.
Sarah and Emily are two gorgeous 23 year old graduate students. They
have lived together for the past year.
They are lovers. |

This is an interesting tale, if you take the time to read it. Emily
has always wanted to make love to a woman with a shaved head (join the club!!).
Tonight she will accomplish her ambition. (We should all be so
lucky!!)

When Emily first saw Sarah, she was attracted to her short
haircut.
Sarah cut her hair from waist length to short when she started college,
and has kept it mostly short since then, often doing the cutting herself.
"I like cutting my hair," she says. |

On their first date, Emily asked if she could shave Sarah's head.
(Is this our kind of girl or what?) Sarah politely declined. |

Over the coming months, Emily kept bugging Sarah about shaving her
head.
Now, on their first anniversary, Sarah has reluctantly agreed to shave
her head. |

I don't think I've ever seen such a happy barber as Emily. She ran
the clippers right down the middle, and then kept running them till there
wasn't one hair left on her beauitful lover's head. We are happy to report
that Sarah loves her shaved head, and is now working on getting Emily to
join her with a head shave.

VOTING FOR A CHANGE

We're happy to bring back Helen's headshave. Helen agreed to accept
the vote of the Hair Enthusiasts to decide how she would cut her hair. To
no one's surprise, the vote was a landslide in favor of Helen shaving off
those 40 inches of hair and having it razor smooth!!
We start with a clippered bob haircut. We then give Helen a high Chili
bowl. Then, we do DOUBLE RAPID FIRE CLIPPERCUTTING, leaving Helen shorn to
the nubs in a frenzy of clippers and flying hair. |

Another great haircut from the past, Yvette Mimieux gets her hair
cut in "Joy in the Morning."

The story line is that she's the young wife of a young college professor
and gets jealous of the young coeds bopping around campus. |

She walks behind one girl, whose short haircut bounced up and down,
and the next thing you know, she's out buying the same kind of sweater the
coed was wearing.

Then it's hippity hop to the Barber Shop. |
 |
She instructs the barber to cut it "So that it bounces," and the
reluctant barber starts wacking off her hair. |
 |
Yvette then breaks out in major crying as her hair is cut.

Out come the tissues as she cries a river of tears.

TERRORISTS CUT FLIGHT ATTENDANT'S HAIR

I wish one of these days- one of our German members would translate
this clip into English. From my limited knowledge of German, and my own two
eyes, this is what I've been able to piece together:
This girl has gorgeous long red hair, and somehow the act of cutting
her hair is like an art. |

She wacks off her hair with these two giant scissors (also has some
kind of artsy meaning or symbolism), and keeps wacking like there's no tomorrow,
which is the case for her poor hair. The scissors, or SHLANG in German, are
particularly cool because they have HUGE blades, probably 7 or 9 inches.

We at HAIRCUT.NET are in favor of such artwork, and would highly
encourage all artists to try shaving their heads, or simply cutting their
long hair off with two giant pair of scissors. |

This girl is a very talented amateur who is really cutting off her
long hair to within an inch of her scalp. Between you and me, it's a wonder
she didn't hurt herself, wielding those giant SCHLANG with great
enthusiasm.

SIGOURNEY WEAVER SAYS, "IF I'M GONNA BE BALD I'LL NEED MORE
MONEY"

Sigourney Weaver has worn her hair in many looks, but never as exciting
for the Hair Enthusiasts as Aliens, in which she appeared nearly bald.

At the beginning of the movie she still has hair, but she arrives
on a planet infested with lice, so everyone keeps their heads shaved. |
 |
She is told to shave her head, and the next moment, she's wiping
the steam off the mirror to show a closely clipped Sigourney staring back.
It was disappointing that they left out the haircut from the movie.

This clip is from "The Making of Aliens 2" and shows a brief bit
of Sigourney's haircut, and an interview with her. |

She talks about how Ridley Scott, the Producer, asked how she would
feel about being bald in the movie. |
 |
"If I were bald I'd have to get more money," was her response, and
apparently Ridley ponied up the dough. |
 |
We think Ridley is probably a Hair Enthusiast. Another of his
productions- GI Jane- had perhaps the most famous haircut of all time- as
Demi Moore gave herself a clipper shave.

As for Sigourney, we think the bald look is becoming, and would
love to see her "back in the chair" for another Aliens sequel.
