The recent wave of attacks by the "Harley Choppers" has women all
over Metropolis cutting their hair to avoid falling victim to the "Choppers."
I went for a haircut, and was surprised to find a large crowd of women
at the salon, all with the same idea. After waiting for over an hour (despite
the fact that I had an appointment) I told the stylist I wanted a buzzcut.

"You and everyone else today," said the stylist, "I've given 30
buzzcuts today, and it's only 2 o'clock," he said.
Twenty minutes later, I emerged from the salon with my new haircut-
just 1/4 inch long all over- the BEST DEFENSE against the Choppers. As I
walked out of the salon past one woman in line, she ran her fingers through
her long hair. We both knew what she was thinking... |
