You can only imagine how delighted I was when Apryl told me to get
my camera ready because "we" had an appointment at the Barber Shop. Apryl's
hair has gotten long, covering up her beauty. Time to get that fixed. The
location for Apryl's haircut is Fred's Barber Shop, which is a completely
authentic barber shop with all its furnishings from the 1920's. |

ONE MORE APRIL, ONE MORE SURPRISE
One of the great pleasures of our "Paradise of Pelona" shoot was working
with April. She worked hard all day giving haircuts, and was "The Life of
the Haircut Party," so to speak.At the end of the day, April asked me, "Do
we have time for one more haircut?" "Who?" I asked. "Me!" she said. Well
sir, you could have knocked me over with a feather, as I (of course) thought
she meant she wanted a "Pelona" haircut. What she wanted was a short haircut.
She jumped into the chair, told Rodrigo how she wanted it cut and in minutes
her long hair was lying on the floor. How did she like her new haircut?
"Fantastic!" she said. |
