These two best friends have made a pact- They have simply promised each other that they would shave their heads. Desiree is first in the chair. We give her a nice bob haircut, and then a short buzzback wedge, and then the moment of truth- running the clippers down the middle with no attachment. As the clippers run right down the middle, Desiree says "There I go" and tears start to flow. She then turns to Trisha and says, "That's it Trisha. You're done." Trisha is next in the chair. We give her every opportunity to back out, but she insists that she take the plunge "without a parachute" or safety net. BZZZZZZZZZ..... Trisha starts to cry as the first path is shorn. Everyone comments on how beautiful she looks with each new pass of the clippers, but Trisha is inconsolable.
More tears flow as she gets her first look in the mirror at her half shorn head. Trisha is not taking the loss of her hair too well. After a while, and a lot of looks in the mirror, she starts to like it, saying "I can't believe I did this!"
