THE "BEST OF" THE TV AND MOVIE HAIRCUTS VIDEO 202- RUNNING TIME 2 HOURS Here is a summary of the 32 haircut and headshave clips on Video 202: 1. In this sensuous feature, a young woman has her boyfriend shave her head. There's nudity in this segment, so if that offends you, please don't order it. Her erogenous zone is her head, and the boyfriend's erogenous zone is his fingers. It's a very sensuous scene, as the boyfriend slowly snips and clips his lover's hair. This clip is like watching a dream come true. This is one of the most positive portrayals of female headshaving we've ever seen- VERY COOL STUFF!! 2. TV Show "Practical Jokes." Three young women are introduced on the show, and the host says they're all getting "the same" makeover. The first two girls are clipped to the scalp, while the third girl, who is not in on the joke, watches and awaits her turn- thinking she's next. Pretty funny stuff. 3. German Movie- This very pretty actress with shoulder length hair goes to a cocktail party with her new hoi paloi friends. In the midst of the party, she goes off to the bathroom, finds a pair of cordless electric clippers (how convenient) and buzzes off her hair. This scene alone makes this video worth owning. 4. German TV Rock Show- Don't ask me why, but in the midst of a rock music show, they bring out a young woman with Blonde hair, and clip it off right to the scalp. Hail Hail Rock N. Roll!! 5. Boyfriend Haircuts- In this feature, a boyfriend and girlfriend come on the show, and are the girls are asked to let their boyfriends cut their hair. The first girl refuses, but then relents when cheered on by the audience. The second girl is nearly in tears as "Kurt," her boyfriend, cuts off her beautiful long blonde hair. With a bit of coaxing from the audience, this young woman let her boyfriend enthusiastically lop off her hair. 6. Joy in the Morning- Yvette Mimieux, lovely and blonde, goes to the barber shop and asks to have her hair cut "so that it bounces." A reluctant barber starts cutting her blonde hair, and she starts crying. A classic movie haircut scene. 7. A Father's Revenge- Terrorists hijack a plane, and take one of the flight attendants, and give her a short haircut before having her read their demands on video. Very good scene. 8. Artist Self-Cut- In this German TV feature, the artist has long red hair, and starts cutting her hair with two GIANT pairs of scissors. In the meantime, the narrator explains that there's some kind of artistc meaning in the artist's use of these GIANT "SCHLANG" or scissors. We don't understand the artistic message in this one, but the artist ends up with very short hair, so we are all for it. 9. German TV Makeover- During this talk show, they go in the audience and ask for a woman willing to get a makeover. A SMASHING young lady with waist length hair raises her hand, and they proceed to cut her long hair down to a short little chin length bob. AWESOME!! 10. German Movie- This young woman joins the convent, and they cut off her hair as part of the induction ceremonies. Kinda like joining the Marines. No hair. No sex, at least until Boot Camp is over. 11. The Roaring 20's motif is featured in this German film as a woman goes for a bob haircut. 12. In this German Movie- this woman gives herself a bob haircut. 13. Belgian TV Feature- A GORGEOUS young woman is asked to get her hair cut short. She explains that she can't do it because she's going to work. The whole camera crew goes with her, they get the boss' permission, and off they go to the Beauty Shop. She gets a very short haircut, and when shown the results, begins to cry, "Mama." On the same show, a young woman agrees to get her VERY long hair cut VERY short. First, the ponytail is lopped off, then her hair is cut short. Damn short!! 14. The Making of Aliens 3- There is a brief scene of Sigourney Weaver being clipped for her role in this movie. 15. Punk Rock feature from BBC TV- In this feature, probably dating back to the late 70's, lots of mohawks are shown, and one mohawk haircut is done on camera, in the middle of the street, with a crowd watching. 16. Chinese Movie- There are two great haircut scenes in this movie- In the first, during the Cultural Revolution, the women are lined up for short haircuts, out in the street, given three at a time. The second scene has a young woman trying to escape the Cultural Revolution, going to a convent to become a Buddhist Nun. If she thought the haircuts were bad outside the convent, she had no idea what awaited her INSIDE the convent. At first, she balks at the headshave, but then takes up the scissors, and starts the job herself. The nuns finish the job, leaving her scalp shiny and smooth. Finally, they make her sweep up the hair. 17. German Movie- Features 3 collaborators having their hair cut off. 18. British TV- Model Carolyn McIntyre has her head shaved for BBC TV. 19. British TV- Clip showing Sinead O'Connor and the shaved singer from The Cranberries. 20. "Superster" This clip has a Belgian model with a buzz haircut coming to New York to get into commericals. 21. "The Pasison of Joan of Arc," 1927. Perhaps the earliest headshave in a movie. 22. Rock video by the Blake Babies, as the band members (two men and two women) cut their hair on the video. 23. "Holy Mountain." This movie features two blonde twins having their heads shaved in the opening scene with scissors and hand clippers. There's nudity in this segment, so if that offends you, please don't order it. 24. Self shave in the bathroom. In this movie segment, the young star gives herself a headshave in the bathroon using scissors and clippers- very cool!! 25. Belgian TV- "Ponytail Chops" The star of the show goes around trying to talk women into having their ponytails chipped off with giant garden shears. Amazingly, three women take him up on his offer. And yes, those garden shears will snip off a ponytail in one quick snip. 26. British Movie "The Story of Joanna" In this film, the butler has the mistress sit down in front of the mirror, and lops off her long hair down to extremely short while soft music plays in the background. Why? I have no idea, but it's one of the most sensuous and exciting haircut scenes I've ever seen. 27. "Secret Army" In this episode of the British series, the French Partisans are busy cutting off the hair of girls who collaborated with the Germans when they are interrupted (rudely, I might add) by the British soldiers. 28. "Caged" In this classic from the 50's Eleanor Parker has her lovely blonde hair clipped to the scalp in seconds by the evil prison matron as punishment for keeping a cat. 29. "Gloria" agrees to have her head shaved on national TV. A barber takes the clippers and runs them right down the middle, before a cheering crowd. They should have more stuff like this on TV. 31. "Radio Station Contest." In this feature, a young woman is trying to win $10,000 from a radio station for the most outrageous act. She sits down in a lawn chair, out come the clippers, and in under five minutes, all her hair is clipped and shaved smooth. Watching mountains of her hair tumble down makes this scene one of the best headshaves to date. 32. In this film clip, a young woman has her waist length hair shaved to the scalp with a straight razor. There's nudity in several segments of this video, so if that offends you, please don't order it.
