Monica is a real life G.I. Jane. When she joined the Navy,
she had waist length hair. During basic training she tried to keep her hair,
but it was difficult keeping it tied up all the time, and frankly,
was too hot!!

She went to the barber shop and instructed the barber to "cut it
all off," and in a matter of five minutes she emerged with the same haircut
as Demi Moore in the movie "G.I. Jane." |

Now, at the age of 35, Monica is married to "one of us," and has
agreed to shave her head for the best reason of all- LOVE!! |

Monica and Michael have been married for 5 years. They do
everything together! They have a catering business, and enjoy cooking
together. |
 |
They are both avid walkers, and have walked together in several
marathons. |
 |
When Michael asked Monica to shave her head, she agreed- after all,
"THE COUPLE THAT SHAVES TOGETHER STAYS TOGETHER." |

We gave Monica several haircuts, including a buzzback bob,
bumper bangs, a military crewcut and a "Gone in 60 Seconds" special.

Monica made a lot of great faces during the haircut- very
entertaining!!

Monica enjoyed her transformation a lot, and we hope you'll agree
she looks MUCH BETTER without the hair! |

Michael had a lot of fun too, though we suspect the most fun
was yet to come!!
Monica has set a great example for all the wives and girlfriends of
the Hair Enthusiasts! |
